| Transferring
A Domain Name Registered by A Specific Company |
|
Instructions
for transferring your domain name when registered by a specific company
are available using the links below. Please note that each registrar
uses a unique process and it can change without our knowledge. If
the instructions do not match what you see after logging into your account
with the registrar, you should contact them directly for up-to-date instructions.

- Using a Web browser, go to http://www.networksolutions.com.
- Click the Account Manager tab.
- Enter your Username or Account Number and Password
and click the Log In button
- When the Account Summary page opens, click
on the domain name you want to modify in the domain list at the top
of the page.
- When the Manage Domain Names page appears,
click on Edit Contacts/Manage DNS in the Services section.
- Click the Manage Name Servers button.

Click
the No option if prompted to change your DNS to Network Solutions.
When the Name Servers for This Domain page appears, replace
any existing entries by entering ns.my-ehost.com in the
Primary Server box and ns2.my-ehost.com in the Secondary Server
box. These are the only name servers that should be listed for
the domain.

Click
the Continue button. You will need to click this button
on two additional pages before returning to the Manage Domain Names
page appears again.
- Click the Log Off button.

- Using a Web browser, go to http://www.godaddy.com.
- Click the My Account button.
- Enter your Login Name or Customer Number and Password
and click the LOGIN button.
- When the Domain Control Center page appears,
click on Domain List in the Go to: section.

When Manage
Your Domain Names page appears, click on the domain name you want
to modify in the Manage Domains section.
- When the Domain Details page appears, click
Modify DNS.
- When the Manage Nameservers page appears,
replace any existing entries by entering ns.my-ehost.com
in the Name Server 1 box and ns2.my-ehost.com in the Name Server
2 box. These are the only name servers that should be listed for
the domain.
- Click the Save Changes button.
- Click the LOG OUT button.

Using
a Web browser, go to http://www.register.com.

Click
the My Account button.
-
Enter
your User Name and Password and click the Sign In button.

When the
Domain Manager page appears, click
on the domain name you want to modify in the list on the upper left.

When the
page reloads, click Domain Name Servers in the Account Management
section,
-
Click
the check box next the Delete name server where name
server is the existing name server for the domain. Every
listed name server must be checked.

In the
Add or Change Your Domain Name Servers, enter ns.my-ehost.com
in the first box and and ns2.my-ehost.com in the second box.
-
Choose
the e-mail address where Register.com
will send a message asking you to confirm the name server modification.

Click
the Submit button.
-
Close
your Web browser (optional).
-
Register.com
will send you an e-mail with the subject "Change DNS (Domain
Name Server) Confirmation." When you receive this message,
click on the link provided in it. When your Web browser loads
the confirmation page, click the Make this Change button.

Using
a Web browser, go to http://resellers.tucows.com/opensrs/.

Click
Manage your domain in the upper right side of the page.

When the
Manage Your Domain page appears, enter your Domain Name, User
Name, and Password, then click the Manage Domain button.

Click
Manage Name Servers.
-
Replace
any existing entries by entering ns.my-ehost.com in the
Primary box and ns2.my-ehost.com in the Secondary box.
These are the only name servers that should be listed for the domain.

Click
the Save Configuration button.
-
When the
page reloads, a message indicating that the nameservers have been
updated successfully will appear. Click Logout at the
top of the page.

Using
a Web browser, go to http://www.000domains.com.

Click
Account Manager on the left side of the page.

When the
Account Manager page opens, enter either your Domain Name or
Contact ID, User Name, and Password, then click the Login button.
If the default I'm the Admin Contact setting does not allow
you to login, try changing the setting to Owner (Registrant).
-
A new
page will appear with your account details. Click NameServers
at the top of the page.
-
When the
Name Servers settings appear, replace any existing entries
by entering ns.my-ehost.com in the 1st box and ns2.my-ehost.com
in the 2nd box. These are the only name servers that should
be listed for the domain.

Click
the Save Name Servers button.

When the
page reloads, a message indicating that the nameservers have been
updated successfully will appear. Click Logout at the
top of the page.

- Using a Web browser, go to http://www.itsyourdomain.com.
- Click Member Login in Manage section
on the left side of the page.
- When the Domain Manager Login page appears,
enter your Username and Password, then click the Login button.
- When the Domain Management Control Panel - Main
Area page appears, click Change DNS/Hosting Info button in
the Manage Your Domain section.
- When the Change DNS/Hosting Information
page appears, check the box to the left of the
domain name you want to modify, and click the Continue button.
- When the DNS Information page appears, replace
any existing entries by entering ns.my-ehost.com in the
Primary Host box and ns2.my-ehost.com in the Secondary Host box.
These are the only name servers that should be listed for the domain.
- Click the Continue button, the click it
again when the same button appears on the next page.
- Click Log Out at the bottom of the page.

- Using a Web browser, go to http://www.namecheap.com.
- Enter your Username and Password in the User
Login section on the upper left of the page, and click the Login
button.
- When the My Account page appears, click
on the Manage Domains tab.
- Select the domain you want to modify from the Select
A Domain >> list box and select Modify Nameservers
from the adjacent list box, then click the Manage Domain button.
- When the Modifying Nameservers section appears,
change the Use list box setting to choose Custom Nameservers
if the current setting is "Namecheap's Nameservers."; if the
current setting is "Custom Nameservers", you can ignore this
step.

any existing entries by entering ns.my-ehost.com in the
first box and ns2.my-ehost.com in the second box. These
are the only name servers that should be listed for the domain.
- Click the Save Changes button.

When the
page reloads, a message indicating that the nameservers have been

tab at the top of the page.

- Using a Web browser, go to http://access.enom.com.
- Enter your Domain and Password, then click the
LOG-IN button.
- When the Domain Name Maintenance page appears,
click Nameservers in the View/Modify section.
- When the DNS Information page appears, change
the Use list box setting to choose Your own Nameservers
if the current setting is "Our Nameservers."; if the current
setting is "Your own Nameservers", you can ignore this step.

Replace
any existing entries by entering ns.my-ehost.com in the
1) box and ns2.my-ehost.com in the 2) box. These are
the only name servers that should be listed for the domain.
- Click the MODIFY button.
- When the Domain Name Maintenance page appears
again, click the LOG-OUT button.
